Devi(L) an entertaining ghost film directed by Vijay features Prabhudeva on screen after a long gap of 12 years. It’s a comeback for Prabhudeva as an acts in Tamil cinema. He enacts as a modern urban guy of Mumbai who with marry a modern trendy girl. But situation changes topsy – turvy and Prabhudeva is forced to marry an ordinary village girl Tamannaah. Prabhudeva doesn't want to continue with his wife and decides to leave her. In such a confusion one fine day he take up his wife to a Award’s function. There suddenly he remains stunned by the outstanding performance of Tammanah in modern outfits. Besides famous Tamil actor Sonu Sood impressed by Tammanah invites her for acting with him in movies. This turns to be an utter confusion for Prabhudeva and finally what has to be done for this mystery forms the climax of the movie Devi(L).
Prabhudeva as hero after a long gap is Tamil cinema has given his best as usual. His dance sequences in excellent. Tamannah has rocked both as modern girl, village girl and Equally blasted in dance like Prabhudeva. Sonu Sood, Sathish, R.J. Balaji have done their best.
Technical Team Performance
Choreography is extraordinary. Music by Sajid Wajid, Vishal Mishra could have been better. Cinematography by Manush Nandan could have been better in second half. Director Vijay has done his best in story & screenplay.
